Terms
Short version: we make changes to your site on the schedule your plan sets, and nothing goes live unless you approve it. The first five changes are free and yours to keep. After that you pick a plan, month to month, and the first paid month is refundable if you aren't happy. We don't promise rankings. You own your site and everything we make for it.
Last updated 17 October 2026. These terms are between you and Flindev Pty Ltd, which runs Dinkum.
The service
Dinkum is done-for-you search work. On the $2,000 plan it makes one change to your website every weekday morning, and on the $100 plan one a month, plus a check of the site. Each change (a Dink) is a new page, a rewrite, a fix, structured data or an answer AI tools can quote. Each change arrives as a pull request in your repository, after a second AI has reviewed it and the pages have been rendered on desktop and phone. It tracks Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers and judges every change at 14 and 28 days.
Your approval
Nothing changes on your live site unless you, or someone you've authorised, merges the pull request. You can ask for changes or close any of them. Because you approve each change, check it before you merge it: you're responsible for what's published on your site, and if something we made isn't right, tell us and we'll fix it.
The five free Dinks
Both plans start with five free changes, with no card and no obligation. You keep all five whether you go on to a paid plan or not, and you choose a plan after you've seen them.
Paying
- There are two plans for one site: $100 a month or $2,000 a month, billed monthly in advance, with no setup fee. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- It's month to month. You can stop at any time; the plan ends at the close of the month you've paid for, and we don't charge for the next one.
- On either plan, if you aren't happy by the end of your first paid month, tell us why and we refund that month in full. The refund is once per customer: after a refund, you can't sign up again.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing your price.
What you give us
Access to your site's repository, Search Console and the other tools you choose, so we can do the work. Give us the least access that does the job, and you can withdraw it at any time. Tell us the facts about your business that pages should state; we only publish claims we can back up.
Who owns what
You own your site, your content and every change we make for it once you merge it. Our software, methods and know-how stay ours, and we may describe the kind of work we do for clients in general terms without naming you unless you agree.
What we don't promise
Search engines and AI tools decide what they rank, index and quote. We don't guarantee rankings, traffic, sales, indexing times or AI citations. What we commit to is doing the work every weekday, carefully, and telling you honestly how each change did.
Confidentiality
We keep what we learn about your business and your data confidential, and use it only to do your work. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the three months before the claim, and neither of us is liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.
Ending
Either of us can end the service at the end of a paid month. We'll stop work, and you can withdraw the access you gave us. Changes already merged stay yours.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we'll update this page and the date at the top, and tell clients by email at least 30 days before a change that affects them. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Questions to mitch@flindev.com.
